Estradiol is the predominant sex hormone present in female. Estrace represents the major estrogen in humans. Estradiol pill has not only a critical impact on reproductive and sexual functioning, but also affects other organs including the bones. Estradiol pill is a form of estrogen. Estrace is used for symptomatic treatment of the usual symptoms associated with menopause, prevention of bone fractures associated with osteoporosis, reduction of the risk of heart attacks and strokes, and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
